Keerthi is interested in developing AI-driven diagnostic tools for the early detection of cancer.
She earned her doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering from Anna University in 2021, where she worked with Dr. S. Esakkirajan on computer-aided diagnosis of ocular health.
Prior joining Prof. Bhargava’s lab, Dr. Balraj had the opportunity to work with Prof. Anurag Singh Rathore as a postdoctoral researcher and Coordinator of the Data Analytics Division at the Centre of Excellence in Biopharmaceutical Technology, IIT Delhi. She managed research and development efforts in pancreatic cancer, brain tumor identification, and video-based cardiac function monitoring.
Keerthi joined Prof. Bhargava’s lab in November 2024, where she will focus on developing advanced AI protocols to analyze infrared data and design innovative tools for the early detection of liver cancer.
