Isabella Lebovic

Isabella is a PhD student in Bioengineering at UIUC. She is interested in developing reproducible 3D cell culture models to understand how controllable factors influence the tumor microenvironment. Her work aims to better understand cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions in engineered systems.
Prior to beginning her PhD, Isabella earned a BS in Bioengineering with a minor in Computer Science from UIUC in December 2023, after which she worked as a research assistant in the Bhargava Lab.
