Ashwin received his B.E. degree in Chemical Engineering along with a minor in Materials Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani-Hyderabad Campus. His off-campus Bachelor’s thesis at IIT-Madras was on Sequence Engineering of Copolymers using Evolutionary Computing. His primary research interests include the application of machine learning, computational and imaging techniques in studying soft systems.
As a graduate student, Ashwin will be working with both Prof. Brendan Harley and Prof. Rohit Bhargava in studying brain tumor micro-environment development.
